manifesto / studio principles

software at human pace.

We reject the cycle of feature-bloat, constant alerts, and notification noise. Our studio is dedicated to building clean, offline-first tools tailored for sustained focus and intellectual flow.

three design pillars

01 / Friction Elimination
Every secondary setting, nested menu, and popup dialog consumes finite working memory. Our interface philosophy starts by stripping away the margins, sidebar docks, and headers. By reducing tools to single flows, we keep your focus centered on your output. Stride App embodies this through a simple, single-line input field that parses dates, reminders, and checklists directly.
02 / Network Autonomy
A delay of 200 milliseconds is enough to break a train of thought. Cloud-first tools force you to wait for remote servers to record keystrokes. We build local-first software. All data resides in an encrypted SQLite database directly on your device, syncing to central databases asynchronously in the background. If your connection drops, Stride continues executing seamlessly.
03 / Intentional Metrics
Most productivity software tracks vanity metrics: task counts, streaks, and checkmarks completed. We believe productivity is about focus depth, not velocity. Stride integrates local time trackers and Pomodoro intervals directly on individual tasks, helping users measure deep focus hours rather than simple list completion speeds.

what we promise

100% Privacy

Your tasks and notes are yours. Everything is cached locally on your device, and we never track your inputs or monetize task content.

Zero Ads

We build premium, clean utilities. You will never see banners, advertisements, or sponsor hooks in any of our production client apps.

Native Build

No heavy hybrid web containers. Stride is written in native Kotlin/Compose, ensuring fast execution and battery efficiency.
